We’re thrilled to invite you to our Woollahra Charity Golf Day, a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a round of golf while supporting a great cause.

This event promises a day full of fun, friendly competition, and camaraderie. All proceeds will benefit the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, which is dedicated to “transforming the lives of people affected by cancer by providing integrated expert care, delivered with compassion and founded on research, innovation, education and training.”

Senior Championship

We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Pat Garvan on his victory in the Senior Championship!  
The event is played in conjunction with the July and August Medal days, with Pat returning scores of 75 / 76 (151) to win by 8 shots from Anthony Laumberg with rounds of 84 / 75 (159).
Join us in congratulating Pat on this fantastic result!
For the handicap event, it was a come from behind victory for Peter Ford.  After an opening round of 74, Peter was 9 shots from the lead.  His final round of 61 (135) secured the win by a narrow margin of 1 shot from Michael Schnabl with two consistent rounds of 67 / 69 (136).
Congratulations Peter and well played!

J.W. Pollock Memorial Shield

The final of the extended competition due to course closures experienced in July from the excessive rainfall, was played on Sunday, 4 August between Michael Caldwell / Michael Williams and John Gabor / Michael Schnabl.
Huge congratulations to Michael Caldwell and Michael Williams for clinching the Pollock Memorial Shield for the first time! 
It was an incredible day filled with great shots, tough competition, and superb camaraderie.  The difference on the day was Michael Caldwell who played exceptionally well and took full advantage of his handicap on the holes where it counted.  The victory was sealed on Hole 17, with the two Michael’s winning 3/1.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the event.  There were some challenges with the persistent rain delays.

T.L Warren Trophy & W. Gibson Trophy

The start of the T.L. Warren Trophy and W. Gibson Trophy golfing season is always an exciting time!
Woollahra Golf Club kicked off their first match against Hurstville on Sunday, 21 July at Hurstville.  Unfortunately our teams lost their opening matches 2/1.
The home match on Sunday, 28 July was played in some cold challenging conditions, however the result was not in our Club’s favour.  The Warren Trophy team halved their match and the Gibson Trophy Team went down 2/1.
The next match will be played on Sunday, 4 August at Woollahra against Beverley Park.
